Eric Althaus uses and recommends the following drumming industry manufacturers.

Eric Althaus uses Promark drumsticks

Eric Althaus is a Promark Certified Product Specialist
I exclusively use Pro-Mark drumsticks, which I've used for over twenty
years. My current model of choice is Japanese White Oak size 5B with nylon
tips. I also use various mallets and brushes manufactured by Promark,
and became recognized as a Pro-Mark Certified Product Specialist.

You can check out my Pro-Mark profile on Pro-Mark's website.

Eric Althaus uses Drumlights (TM) - Light up your performance!
I use and recommend DrumLights. Light up your performance today!

Eric Althaus uses QwikStix Accessories - drumstick and beverage holders
Check out QwikStix! I use their stick and beverage holders in my live setup. Tell them I sent you!

Drum Workshop Pedals
I use the 9000 series foot pedals, hi hat stands, and snare stands.

I use the PDP Super Rack System and cymbal boom arms.

I use various cymbals in all my drum setups. I tend to pick out cymbals that match not only the music I play, but also my Yamaha drums. Every cymbal is unique, and as such, I only use the best sounding ones (to MY ears, anyway ;-). Brand names alone don't do it for cymbals - they simply HAVE to sing. Mine do!!!

I use Evans G2 over G1 heads on my Yamaha toms and EQ3's on my kicks.

I use Remo clear Emperors over clear Ambassadors on all my Pearl toms, and Powersonics on the kick drums.

For ALL my snares, I use Remo Coated Ambassadors for the batter side, and Hazy Ambassadors for the resonant (snare side).

The Audix D6 kick drum microphone is incredible. I also use Audix clip-on microphones, which are among the best mini-mic's I've heard.

Sound Systems
Makers of the finest drum and instrument microphones.

Eric Althaus is proud to have been a
K&K Sound Systems endorsed artist.
Unfortunately, the company has discontinued the models of microphones
that Eric had endorsed and used on his drums.

"Dieter and the entire K&K family continue to produce the finest instrument
microphones available. The snare and tom mics I used for ten years were
the perfect microphones for my large drum set-ups. I will continue to use
the K&K mics that I still have in my possession, though they are no longer
available to the public. K&K has decided to focus their energies in different
directions, and though I'm personally affected by their decision, I wish them
success and thank them for their many years of support." - Eric Althaus

Whenever I need to provide my own monitor, it's JBL all the way!
